From highly targeted to broad-ranging
- LaserChange® is our fastest, most targeted offering. Data collection is completely automated. The entire consult can be done on the telephone. LaserChange® is based on our book, The Versatile Leader: Make The Most Of Your Strengths Without Overdoing It (Pfeiffer, 2006).
- LeaderChange has a broad scope. We conduct extensive interviews that, with the permission of the manager and spouse, include family and friends. Because the work is so powerful and personal, it involves two consultants. LeaderChange is based on our book, Beyond Ambition: How Driven Managers Can Lead Better and Live Better (Jossey-Bass, 1991).
- To add to the power and resources of the basic LaserChange® model, you can bolt on boosters like: interviews with coworkers, additional follow-up and an interview with the spouse. The notion of boosters was developed in our guide book, “Enhancing 360-Degree Feedback for Senior Executives” (Center for Creative Leadership, 1994).
- Getting OnBoardTM helps new executives hit the ground running. The critical onboarding period, when everyone expects a seamless transition and quick results, is often neglected. Many new leaders receive little preparation, support, or ramp-up time. Not surprisingly, almost half of new executive selections fail! Getting OnBoardTM ups the odds of success. It includes ideas from our book, Filling the Leadership Pipeline (Center for Creative Leadership, 2005).
