To give participants a bona fide opportunity to grow and improve, we choose from a wide repertoire of leadership development techniques to customize programs for mid-level to senior managers. Elements include:
1. Assessment with the Leadership Versatility Index, plus verbatim comments. Also, the participant takes the Hogan Assessment Systems personality profiles that look at the bright side, dark side, and inside of a leader’s make-up.
2. Coaching by members of KDI’s expert leadership team. We help managers interpret their feedback, turn it into a realistic plan and stay with them as they implement it. In addition, we encourage peer coaching, which takes place in small, semi-structured groups that we facilitate during classroom sessions and that meet on their own outside of sessions.
3. Working with trained mentors. Our mentors are well schooled in talent management and give participants distinct leverage in the process of developing their skills.
