Kaplan DeVries team leads workshop on Managing Executive Talent, sponsored by the Human Resources Planning Society.
Bob Kaplan and Rob Kaiser kicked off a workshop sponsored by the Human Resources Planning Society in San Francisco September 13-14. They were invited to “turn conventional wisdom on it’s head” by leading off the two-day workshop for senior HR leaders with their innovative model of leadership versatility and their next-generation approach to assessment. Their interactive session, “Rethinking Executive Assessment,” included several case studies and an interactive experiential learning process to help HR leaders take a fresh perspective on the tired “Competency Model & 360” approach to assessment. As one senior HR person commented, “We are preparing for our annual organizational talent review - this material was perfect for upgrading our approach.”
Bob and Rob led-off the session, but several other speakers were present to discuss Executive Talent Management, including speakers from Starbucks, MTV Networks, Genentech, and American Express.
